2121 AN ACT CONCERNING THE FINANCIAL VIABILITY OF PRIVATE NURSING HOME FACILITIES.

2323 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

2525 That section 19a-535 of the general statutes be amended to provide that a private nursing home shall only be required to provide continued care to a resident if there is a funding source for the resident's care, or alternatively, the resident has vested title to his or her residential home to the nursing home facility.
