AN ACT CONCERNING THE SITING OF TRANSMISSION FACILITIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 16 of the general statutes be amended to require the Connecticut Siting Council to expedite the process for the siting of transmission facilities.
Statement of Purpose:
To create a more efficient process for the siting of electric transmission facilities to ease the current supply burden and high energy costs.
