AN ACT PROHIBITING INSURERS FROM STEERING POLICYHOLDERS TO PREFERRED MOTOR VEHICLE REPAIR SHOPS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 38a-354 of the general statutes be amended to prohibit insurers from steering their policyholders to preferred motor vehicle repair shops.
Statement of Purpose:
To prohibit insurers from steering their policyholders to preferred motor vehicle repair shops.
