AN ACT CONCERNING TRANSPORTATION FUNDS AND GAS TAX REVENUES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit the use of transportation funds and gas tax revenues for purposes other than transportation projects, except by a two-thirds vote of both chambers of the General Assembly.
Statement of Purpose:
To require a two-thirds vote for any use of transportation funds or gas tax revenue for nontransportation-related purposes.
