AN ACT NAMING THE BRIDGE ON ROUTE 44 IN AVON THE CORPORAL GILDO T. CONSOLINI MEMORIAL BRIDGE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the bridge on Route 44 in Avon be named the Corporal Gildo T. Consolini Memorial Bridge.
Statement of Purpose:
To honor Corporal Gildo T. Consolini, who was the first soldier from Avon killed in action in World War II.
