AN ACT CONCERNING INMATE LABOR.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to authorize any municipality that hosts a correctional facility to enter into an agreement with the Department of Correction concerning the municipality's use of inmate labor free of charge.
Statement of Purpose:
To allow municipalities that host correctional facilities to avail themselves of free inmate labor.
