23 | 23 | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: | |

25 | 25 | That section 14-227a of the general statutes be amended to provide that any person convicted of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of intoxicating liquor or any drug, or both, while a child under sixteen years of age is a passenger in such motor vehicle shall not be eligible for any diversionary program, shall be sentenced to a term of imprisonment of which seven days shall not be suspended or reduced in any manner and shall participate in such alcohol or drug treatment as deemed appropriate by the Court Support Services Division of the Judicial Department. | |
