23 | 23 | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: | |

25 | 25 | That section 14-227b of the general statutes be amended to provide that any person arrested for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of intoxicating liquor or any drug, or both, while a child under sixteen years of age is a passenger in such motor vehicle shall have such person's motor vehicle operator's license suspended by the Commissioner of Motor Vehicles during the pendency of the criminal case, provided such person may be issued a special operator's permit pursuant to section 14-37a of the general statutes for the sole purpose of driving to and from such person's place of employment. | |
