| 25 | 25 | That section 14-227a of the general statutes be amended to provide that any person convicted of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of intoxicating liquor or any drug, or both, while a child under sixteen years of age is a passenger in such motor vehicle shall not operate a motor vehicle for the one-year period following such conviction unless such motor vehicle is equipped with a functioning, approved ignition interlock device. | |
