AN ACT CONCERNING THE RECORDING OF TELEPHONE CONVERSATIONS WITH FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES AND AGENTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 52-570d of the general statutes be amended to permit an individual to record an oral telephonic communication with any officer, employee or agent of a federal, state or local agency, provided the individual gives verbal notification of the recording pursuant to said section 52-570d.
Statement of Purpose:
To permit an individual to record an oral telephonic communication with any officer, employee or agent of a federal, state or local agency, provided verbal notification of the recording is given.
