AN ACT PROVIDING FUNDING TO IMPROVE AND ENHANCE THE 9-11 MEMORIAL AT SHERWOOD ISLAND STATE PARK.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the sum of fifty thousand dollars be appropriated to the Department of Environmental Protection, from the General Fund, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2012, for a grant for the 9/11 Memorial at Sherwood Island State Park.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide funding to improve and enhance the state memorial to victims of the 9-11 terrorists attacks.
