AN ACT CONCERNING PRISON LIBRARY STANDARDS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
Section 1. (NEW) (Effective October 1, 2011) The Commissioner of Correction shall review the guidelines of the Federal Bureau of Prisons concerning prison library collections and shall develop administrative directives concerning the content of library collections in state correctional facilities in accordance with such guidelines.
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following sections:
