AN ACT INCREASING FUNDING OF THE CONNECTICUT HOUSING INVESTMENT FUND.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to increase funding for the Connecticut Housing Investment Fund and to expand the number of homeowners who may borrow from said fund.
Statement of Purpose:
To allow additional homeowners to borrow from the Connecticut Housing Investment Fund to replace inefficient heating oil burners, boilers and furnaces in order to substantially reduce their cost for heating oil and the need for fuel assistance.
