AN ACT REDIRECTING BUSWAY MONEY TO IMPROVE STATE ROADS AND BRIDGES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the General Statutes be amended to redirect all remaining state bond funds authorized for the New Britain-Hartford busway project to the Department of Transportation to improve deficient state roads and bridges.
Statement of Purpose:
To maximize the use of taxpayer money by using busway funds to fix the state's deteriorating transportation infrastructure.
