3939 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

4141 That chapter 219 of the general statutes be amended to specify that persons who re-market hotel rooms collect and remit sales tax on the full price a consumer pays for the hotel room, rather than only on the portion of the room rate originally charged by the hotel to the room remarketer.

4545 To ensure that sales tax is being paid on the full price a consumer pays to rent a hotel room, including that portion of the rent that is added on by a room remarketer in excess of the rent received by the hotel.
