2424 AN ACT CONCERNING PARKING PLACARDS.

2626 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

2828 Section 1. Subdivision (2) of subsection (a) of section 14-253a of the 2012 supplement to the general statutes is repealed and the following is substituted in lieu thereof (Effective October 1, 2012):

3030 (2) "Removable windshield placard" means a two-sided, hanger-style placard which (A) bears on both of its sides: [(A)] (i) The international symbol of access in a height of three inches or more centered on such placard and colored white on a blue background; [(B)] (ii) a unique identification number; [(C)] (iii) a date of expiration; [and (D)] (iv) a statement indicating that the Connecticut Department of Motor Vehicles issued such placard; and (v) a photograph of the person issued such placard from the department, and (B) does not bear on either of its sides: (i) the signature of the holder, and (ii) the last five digits of the holder's credential;
