26 | 26 | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: | |

28 | 28 | Section 1. (NEW) (Effective from passage) (a) For purposes of this section, "prefilled application" means an application containing any personal identifying information, as defined in section 53a-129a of the general statutes. | |

30 | 30 | (b) No creditor or card issuer, as such terms are defined in 15 USC 1602, shall send by mail, facsimile machine, electronic mail or other means of transmission a prefilled application for a credit card, as defined in 15 USC 1602, to any resident of this state. | |
