2626 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

2828 Section 1. (NEW) (Effective from passage) (a) For purposes of this section, "prefilled application" means an application containing any personal identifying information, as defined in section 53a-129a of the general statutes.

3030 (b) No creditor or card issuer, as such terms are defined in 15 USC 1602, shall send by mail, facsimile machine, electronic mail or other means of transmission a prefilled application for a credit card, as defined in 15 USC 1602, to any resident of this state.
