AN ACT CONCERNING DEPARTMENT OF MOTOR VEHICLE SUSPENSIONS FOR OPERATING WITHOUT A LICENSE OFFENSES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
Section 1. (NEW) (Effective October 1, 2012) The Commissioner of Motor Vehicles, in consultation with the Chief Court Administrator, shall adopt regulations in accordance with the provisions of chapter 54 of the general statutes to provide for the ability to report information in the computerized operator history file system regarding repeat violations of subsection (a) of section 14-36 of the general statutes.
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following sections:

Statement of Purpose:
To provide law enforcement the ability to determine whether a motor vehicle operator operating without a license is a repeat offender.
