| 28 | 28 | Section 1. Section 17b-28e of the 2012 supplement to the general statutes is amended by adding subsection (e) as follows (Effective July 1, 2012): | |

| 30 | 30 | (NEW) (e) Not later than July 1, 2012, the Commissioner of Social Services shall amend the Medicaid state plan, pursuant to Title XIX of the Social Security Act, to include treatment by a chiropractor, who is licensed under section 20-27, as an optional service covered under the Medicaid program. Said amendment shall supersede any state regulations concerning such optional services. | |
