AN ACT CONCERNING STATE EMPLOYEE CONTRIBUTIONS FOR RETIREE HEALTH INSURANCE COVERAGE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit contributions made by state employees for retiree health insurance coverage from being held in the state's common cash pool.
Statement of Purpose:
To ensure that retired state employees get the healthcare coverage they have been promised.
