AN ACT CONCERNING HUMANE EDUCATION IN SCHOOLS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 164 of the general statutes be amended to permit local or regional boards of education to offer humane education courses and use curriculums developed by the Humane Society, ASPCA or other animal welfare organizations.
Statement of Purpose:
To allow school districts to offer humane education courses.
