AN ACT CONCERNING PENALTIES FOR THE ILLEGAL SALE OR RENTAL OF AFFORDABLE HOUSING UNITS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 8-30g of the general statutes be amended to establish penalties for the rental, sublet or sale of deed restricted affordable housing units at prices that do not comply with the applicable affordability rate required for such housing units.
Statement of Purpose:
To establish a penalty for the illegal sale, rental or sublet of deed restricted affordable housing units.
