AN ACT AUTHORIZING BONDS OF THE STATE FOR METAL DETECTORS AT THE STATE CAPITOL.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the State Bond Commission be empowered to authorize the issuance of bonds of the state in accordance with section 3-20 of the general statutes, in principal amounts not exceeding in the aggregate _____ dollars, the proceeds of which shall be used by the Joint Committee on Legislative Management for the purpose of installing metal detectors at the entrances to the Legislative Office Building and the State Capitol building.
Statement of Purpose:
To maximize safety and security for the State Capitol complex.
