AN ACT ESTABLISHING A STATE-WIDE MILL RATE FOR MOTOR VEHICLES AND AMENDING THE DEFINITION OF ANTIQUE, RARE OR SPECIAL INTEREST MOTOR VEHICLES. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That the general statutes be amended to establish a state-wide mill rate for motor vehicles and to narrow the definition of antique, rare or special interest motor vehicle to include motor vehicles thirty years and older. Statement of Purpose: To create a state-wide mill rate for motor vehicles and to reimburse municipalities that lose money as a result of a lower state-wide mill rate with additional revenue generated by narrowing the definition of antique, rare or special interest motor vehicle.
