AN ACT CONCERNING THE AVAILABILITY OF PARKING ON THE NEW HAVEN LINE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require the Department of Transportation to develop, in consultation with municipalities on the New Haven Line, as defined in section 13b-78k of the general statutes, (1) an inventory of all available parking spaces and active parking permits at rail stations on the New Haven Line located in such municipalities, and (2) a plan to increase parking availability at such rail stations when parking demand exceeds parking availability.
Statement of Purpose:
To develop an accurate inventory of available parking on the New Haven Line and to develop a plan to meet parking demand.
