AN ACT CONCERNING TESTING AND LICENSING OF HOME IMPROVEMENT CONTRACTORS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That chapter 400 of the general statutes be amended to require home improvement contractors to pass a test to become licensed through the Department of Consumer Protection and that all costs associated with such testing be paid by the person seeking to be licensed.
Statement of Purpose:
To require the Department of Consumer Protection to test and license home improvement contractors.
