AN ACT CONCERNING PUBLIC HEARINGS FOR GROUP HOMES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to provide that when an application for a new group home is filed, the planning and zoning commission in the municipality in which the group home is to be located shall be required to conduct a public hearing on such application prior to issuing a final approval.
Statement of Purpose:
To require public hearings on applications for new group homes.
