2323 AN ACT REQUIRING EYE EXAMINATIONS FOR PERSONS OVER THE AGE OF SIXTY-FIVE SEEKING RENEWAL OF A DRIVER'S LICENSE.

2525 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

2727 That the general statutes be amended to require any person over the age of sixty-five to undergo an eye examination, performed by the Department of Motor Vehicles, an optometrist licensed pursuant to chapter 380 of the general statutes or any health care provider authorized to perform eye examinations, prior to renewal of such person's driver's license.
