2626 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

2828 Section 1. (NEW) (Effective January 1, 2014) Notwithstanding the provisions of chapter 735c of the general statutes, any person engaged in trade or commerce in this state shall accept returned goods and issue a full cash or credit refund to the person returning the goods, provided the goods are: (1) Damaged or not functioning properly at the time of purchase, and (2) returned not more than two business days after purchase.
