AN ACT ESTABLISHING A TAX CREDIT FOR CONTRIBUTIONS TO SCHOOLS FOR EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That the general statutes be amended to establish a tax credit for contributions to schools in support of extracurricular activities, where "extracurricular activities" means school-sponsored programs that require students to pay a fee in order to participate, including, but not limited to, band, athletic teams, science or technology clubs and trips that are solely for competitive events. Statement of Purpose: To establish a tax credit for contributions to schools for extracurricular activities.
