AN ACT CONCERNING AMENDMENTS TO CONTRACTS BETWEEN THE STATE AND A MUNICIPALITY IN WHICH A CORRECTIONAL FACILITY IS LOCATED.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to permit the legislative body of a municipality in which a state-operated correctional facility is located to seek and obtain an amendment to any contract related to the correctional facility that is in effect between the municipality and a state agency.
Statement of Purpose:
To permit a municipality in which a state-operated correctional facility is located to seek and obtain an amendment to any contract that is in effect between the municipality and a state agency related to the correctional facility.
