AN ACT CONCERNING LOCAL TRAFFIC AUTHORITIES AND STREET LIGHT OUTAGES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to establish a procedure allowing any local traffic authority to report any street light outage on a local road when such outage was determined to be the proximate cause of a motor vehicle accident or creates an unsafe condition.
Statement of Purpose:
To improve safety on local roads by allowing local traffic authorities to report street light outages.
