AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF LAND FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONSTRUCTING A BRIDGE AND WALKWAY AT THE WILTON TRAIN STATION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the Department of Transportation be authorized to sell parcels of land in Wilton and to use the proceeds of any such sale to construct a pedestrian bridge and paved walkway to integrate the Wilton train station, bus transit and downtown area.
Statement of Purpose:
To realize the goal of transit-oriented development by linking the train station and the downtown area in Wilton.
