| 41 | 41 | That chapter 601 of the general statutes be amended to establish a benefit corporation as a class of for-profit corporation that (1) has as one of its purposes the creation of a general public benefit that produces a material positive impact on society and the environment, (2) must prepare an annual benefit report concerning its pursuit of a public benefit, and (3) provides that the duties of its directors, the production of the annual benefit report and the pursuit of a general public benefit may be enforced exclusively through a benefit enforcement proceeding. | |
