AN ACT CONCERNING THE INCLUSION OF PROJECT-BASED LEARNING IN THE PUBLIC SCHOOL CURRICULUM.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 10-220 of the general statutes be amended to permit local and regional boards of education to include project-based learning as part of the public school curriculum for the district.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide school districts with innovative tools through which to teach students to learn by doing as opposed to simply teaching them how to complete a task.
