AN ACT CONCERNING UTILITY POLE REPAIR.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That title 16 of the general statutes be amended to (1) require the repair or replacement of a utility pole damaged as a result of an emergency by the first person to arrive at such pole who is qualified to make such repair or replacement, and (2) authorize such person to charge the owner of such pole the fair market value of such repair or replacement.
Statement of Purpose:
To require the repair or replacement of utility poles damaged as a result of an emergency regardless of ownership.
