AN ACT PROHIBITING A PERSON FROM EARNING RISK REDUCTION CREDIT FOR ANY OFFENSE THAT RESULTS IN THE DEATH OF ANOTHER.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 18-98e of the general statutes be amended to prohibit any person sentenced for a crime that resulted in the death of another person from earning risk reduction credit toward a reduction in such person's sentence.
Statement of Purpose:
To prohibit a person from earning risk reduction credit for any offense that results in the death of another.
