AN ACT REQUIRING THE DISPLAY OF HOUSE NUMBERS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require the owner of a residential building to affix numerals to such building indicating the street number assigned to such building by the town or, if there is no record of such assignment, the street number customarily used for such building.
Statement of Purpose:
To require homeowners to prominently display the street number assigned to their home.
