AN ACT REQUIRING NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC OF STRUCTURALLY DEFICIENT AND FUNCTIONALLY OBSOLETE BRIDGES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require the Department of Transportation to place notice to the public on each bridge in the state that has been designated as structurally deficient or functionally obsolete.
Statement of Purpose:
To provide notice to the public of the safety of the state's bridges.
