AN ACT ESTABLISHING A TASK FORCE TO STREAMLINE THE PROCESS FOR APPROVING BRIDGE PROJECTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to establish a task force to study and recommend strategies to streamline the process for approving bridge projects in the state. The task force shall include representatives of the Department of Transportation and the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection and shall submit proposals and recommendations to the General Assembly not later than January 1, 2014.
Statement of Purpose:
To streamline the process for approving bridge projects in Connecticut.
