AN ACT INCREASING THE MAXIMUM SPEED LIMIT AND INCREASING FINES FOR SPEEDING.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to increase the maximum speed limit on any Connecticut highway to seventy-five miles per hour and to increase fines for speeding violations by fifteen per cent.
Statement of Purpose:
To increase the maximum speed limit on Connecticut highways and to increase fines for speeding violations.
