AN ACT CONCERNING FISCAL TRANSPARENCY AND ACCOUNTABILITY OF EDUCATION SPENDING.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 10-10c of the general statutes be amended to require the Department of Education to analyze the chart of accounts of a school district in relation to such district's student academic performance.
Statement of Purpose:
To analyze school district spending in relation to such district's academic performance to ensure that education spending is being used to improve student performance.
