2525 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:

2727 That section 16-262d of the general statutes be amended to allow optometrists to certify to an electric, electric distribution, gas, telephone or water company, electric supplier or municipal utility furnishing electric, gas or water service that a resident of a dwelling is seriously ill and that such service should not be terminated for nonpayment.
