AN ACT CONCERNING THE LISTING OF SOY AS AN INGREDIENT IN FOOD, PRESCRIPTION DRUGS AND OVER-THE-COUNTER MEDICATIONS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require the listing of soy as an ingredient when soy is used in foods, prescription drugs or over-the-counter medications.
Statement of Purpose:
To protect persons who are allergic to soy.
