AN ACT CONCERNING MUNICIPAL COLLABORATION ON AFFORDABLE HOUSING.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to allow municipalities to collaborate in order to address regional needs for affordable housing and to allow such municipalities to be exempt from the affordable housing land use appeals procedure.
Statement of Purpose:
To give towns more control over the type and location of affordable housing units being developed.
