AN ACT INCREASING THE MAXIMUM DAMAGES THRESHOLD IN SMALL CLAIMS ACTIONS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That section 51-15 of the general statutes be amended to increase the maximum damages threshold in small claims actions from five thousand dollars to eight thousand dollars.
Statement of Purpose:
To increase the maximum damages threshold in small claims actions from five thousand dollars to eight thousand dollars.
