23 | 23 | Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: | |

25 | 25 | That chapter 926 of the general statutes be amended to establish a task force to review the statute of limitations applicable to lawsuits claiming defective workmanship on public works projects. The task force shall submit recommendations on whether the current statute of limitations should be modified and shall include a representative from the state Department of Construction Services, a representative from the construction industry, a representative from an architects' association, a representative from an engineers' association and members of the legislature. The task force shall report its recommendations to the joint standing committee on the judiciary not later than January 1, 2014. | |
