AN ACT CONCERNING STATE SURPLUS FUNDS AND FEDERAL GOVERNMENT LOANS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to allow state surplus funds to be used to repay federal loans procured by the state to cover the costs of unemployment benefits.
Statement of Purpose:
To allow state surplus funds to go towards paying the state's loan from the federal government for unemployment benefits.
