AN ACT CONCERNING STATE EMPLOYEE PENSION PLANS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to allow newly hired state employees to choose between the current defined benefit plan or a defined contribution benefit plan as a part of such employees' benefit package.
Statement of Purpose:
To create parity between state and private pension plans.
