AN ACT CONCERNING PROPER EXPENDITURE OF UNION DUES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to prohibit an employee's union dues from being used for purposes unrelated to the union's collective bargaining functions without such employee's written consent.
Statement of Purpose:
To prevent a worker's union dues from being contributed to causes or entities that the employee does not support.
